I got a little bored yesterday, so I downloaded Conky, it’s a kind of system monitor for Linux machines, though if you check it may run on Windows/Mac as well.

Anyway, I decided I wouldn’t download it from the repositories ready made and ready to run. I downloaded the source code and compiled it myself, so I had the very latest version :) I’m glad I did, it taught me some new things :)

I have to say that I REALLY like it. Especially because of the capabilities it has…and how much you can customise it…I spent around 2-4 hours customising mine!

    does your wireless strenght actually change in that sidepanel? the normal network manager just stalls my wireless signal strenght at 73% no matter which signal strenght i connect with.
