While I quite like chrome, it has no excuse for not passing acid3 since webkit does it nicely.

In fact, I find Chrome pretty good under Ubuntu…
yes, it runs with Wine, just install riched20 and riched30 tricks from Winetricks script, and here you are!

It runs pretty smoothly, but the fonts (as in most Wine apps) look horrible. It is really fast and performing , and renders web pages way faster than Firefox.

Only complaint: no Adblock…

I tried Acid3 on the day it came out, was the first thing I tried and it got 100%. I think it’s just that the link test is an external link which is simply overloaded.

People were hopeful that it would run in wine…No dice.
