On Motorola Milestone (aka Droid). it makes typing a lot faster; specially in a portrait view. There is an error margin but i believe it would get a lot better by time.

It's amazing what a difference it makes. I thought the stock HTC keyboard was good, but this blows it out of the water! Steve would never let custom keyboards happen on iOS...
