Secondly, I've set up a local SVN repository (without apache access). This is mainly just for my coding, which I seem to be doing a lot of at the minute, so I figured in my downtime from that, I'd set up SVN.

It was pretty easy, and I have Netbeans (we have to use it at Uni, I've grown to like it though, it's pretty good) set up to commit to the svn repo's for the various projects etc. Which was also incredibly easy to set up. I'm pleased I did it, whether it will be used remains to be seen. Either way, I think I better get back to coding this interface! So far I'm doing ok (though I've not got more than 1 class so far either...)

Now I'm not one to usually use a Mac, however I recently tried out OS X. Just out of curiosity, I copied across my iTunes folder (in it's entirety, with the library file et al). To the OS X install.

Then, further curiosity made me connect my iPod, just to see what would happen...to be fair, I was both surprised and unsurprised at the same time...which I can confirm is a very bizarre feeling!

It synced my iPod just as it would with a normal Windows install of iTunes. So I went one further, and connected my iPhone. Same goes for that, all synced up (after a tediously long backup!!) just fine. Very impressive I must say.

That's all for now, I need to sleep, long day tomorrow!

Now, I'm not a huge fan of desktop effects, I don't often use them. Though I do have to have a compositor enabled, because if I don't have a semi-transparent terminal, I'm not a happy person

Today I tried something that shocked even myself...I installed AWN. I've tried AWN (Avant Window Navigator) before, but never liked it, and it never worked properly. Now however, I really like it, it was relatively easy to set up, though there was a minor issue with a stacks applet, I fixed that pretty easily.

I wasn't sure how I was going to get on with it, but even after using it for a while now, I love it more than I thought

Anyway here's a couple of screenshots I haven't bothered editing my name out of
